Annual Meeting and Board Elections

The Prince William County Girls Softball Little League (PWCGSLL) held its annual meeting on November 8th.

A new Board of Directors (BOD) was elected for 2024, which includes a variety of new members. We were pleased to fill all BOD positions, a welcomed increase from recent seasons. The 2024 BOD brings a new level of energy aimed at enhancing the league experiences for players and their families & supporters.

During the meeting members approved the reauthorization of the Little League Constitution and also unanimously reelected the PWCGSLL President, Ralph Sinnott, for another year term. Ralph’s contributions to the league date back to 2010. To ensure Ralph’s legacy knowledge of league operations continues, a new position of Director of Operations (DO) was added to the BOD. The league DO will work in partnership with the league president to ensure continuity of operations will remain for the future generation of players.

The new 2024 BOD held a monthly meeting on December 6th. A highlight from this meeting was the selection of an Umpire Committee charged with seeking solutions / options to our current umpire deficit.
