Annual Meeting and New PWCGSLL Board Elected

The Prince William County Girls Softball Little League held its annual meeting on November 9th. At the meeting the current Board of Directors reviewed the year and elected a new board for the 2023 season.
 
The board also reviewed the financial status of the League which remains strong. The League ended the year with a slight surplus which was down significantly from last year; however, this was due to 2022 being the first full year of spending since COVID curtailed many activities including Opening Day festivities and Summer Tournament Teams. The League also spent more this year purchasing new uniforms for returning Fall players and updating a lot of older equipment.

During the meeting members approved the reauthorization of the PWCGSLL Constitution and also unanimously reelected the PWCGSLL President, Ralph Sinnott, for another year term.

Members also held formal elections of the remaining Board of Director positions. We still have an open spot for Scheduling and Concessions Manager and are always in need of volunteers to help run the Snack Shack on Saturdays or help with our larger events like Opening Day or the Skills Assessment. The PWCGSLL is a 100% volunteer based organization and the new Board of Directors will need lots of help to make the 2023 Spring and Fall seasons a success.
