Prince William County Girls Softball Little League 2026 Spring Season

Divisions are as follows:

Non-Draft Divisions:

T-Ball (4–6 years old)

Rookies (6–8 years old)

Draft Divisions:

Minors (8–10 years old)

Majors (11–12 years old)

Seniors (13–16 years old)

All ages above are in “League Age.” League age is defined as the player’s age as of January 1, 2026.

Please Note:

All players registered for Minors, Majors and Seniors MUST attend a skills assessment held on March 7.

All “League Age” 10-year-old players should register in the Minors Division. Some 10-year-old players may be drafted to a Majors team. The number of 10-year-olds who move up, and which players are selected, will depend on overall registration numbers for the Majors division and individual player skills.

If you played in Minors or Majors during the previous season, you will either move up or remain in the same division based on age and evaluations. The age group for the Seniors division is 13–16.

Early Bird Discount:

An Early Bird Discount of $20 off each registration is available for registrations completed between December 1 and January 31.

Multiple-Sibling Discount:

A multiple-sibling discount is available: $20 off the registration fee for the second and any additional child(ren) registered after January 31. The discount will apply automatically at checkout.

Umpire Volunteer Refund Program:

Registration fees may be refunded if a parent volunteers to umpire during the season.

Umpiring 3 games will result in a 50% refund of registration fees for one child.

Umpiring 6 games will result in a 100% refund of registration fees for one child.

Parents may volunteer for additional games to receive similar discounts for additional siblings. All refunds will be processed after the conclusion of the season.

Important Dates (All Dates Subject to Change):

December 1 – Online registration opens and Early Bird Discount period begins

January 31 – Early Bird Discount period ends

March 4 – Last day to register online

March 7 – Skills Assessment for Minors, Majors and Seniors and last day to register in-person at standard prices

March 10–11 – Team notifications go out

March 16 – Practices begin (field use may be phased in based on county permits)

April 11 – Opening Day and first games for Minors, Majors and Seniors

Late April (exact date TBA) – Games begin for T-Ball and Rookies

May 2 (tentative) – League Picture Day

June 2–6 – Final regular-season games and end-of-season activities

By registering your child in Prince William County Girls Softball Little League (PWCGSLL), you acknowledge and agree that photographs and/or videos of participants may be taken during league events, practices, and games. These images may be used by PWCGSLL for promotional materials, social media, website content, and other marketing purposes.
